Armenia facing increased demand for face shields
People in Yerevan are concerned over rumors on incidences of "swine flu" in Armenia.

"Over the past 5 days, there has been increased demand for face shields. Since afternoon, we have sold 150-200 blocking masks which cost AMD 80," employer of Farmex drug-store told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

Liana Torosyan, chief specialist at Health Ministry's Hygienic and Anti-Epidemic Inspection, announced earlier that "One patient in Armenia is currently suspected to have A/H1N1 (swine flu), and we have sent his analysis sample to London laboratory."

There have been no official reports on swine flu incidences in the country for now. Nevertheless, World Health Organization will provide Armenia with relevant vaccines in January 2010.
