VimpelCom Group is working towards 4G (fourth generation of cellular wireless) network implementation, ArmenTel Director General Igor Klimko told a news conference in Yerevan. "The test network is being constructed in Kazakhstan," Igor Klimko noted, adding that new network's operation, when proved effective, will be, undoubtedly, spread out among all VimpelCom Group subsidiaries.

ArmenTel CJSC (Beeline trademark) is subsidiary of VimpelCom Group, mobile network operator providing voice and data services through a range of wireless, fixed and broadband technologies.
