A NUMBER OF OBJECTIVE REASONS IMPEDE ARMENIA-NATO ACTIVE COOPERATION
The cooperation of Armenia and NATO develops too slowly. Vahan Ovannisian, the chairman of the committee for defense issues, national security and internal affairs of the National Assembly thinks in this way. In his opinion, there are several reasons for this, the main one of which is the Turkey's membership in NATO. It is difficult for Armenia to cooperate with NATO, a member of which is Turkey, in essence, waging undeclared war against Armenia. V. Ovannisian is also worried with the fact that the other NATO members do not try to prevent the way Turkey conducts.
