Armenia to host international industrial forum in 2010
In 2010, Armenia will host an international industrial forum which will focus on joint Armenian-Russian scientific and technical cooperation projects, head of RA Local Manufacturers' Union Vazgen Safaryan told journalists in Yerevan on Thursday.

The event will bring together representatives from 15 countries.

"Armenia should recover its one-time image of a scientific and technical industrial country," he said.

According to Safaryan, meeting will also focus on scientific and technical development, an issue discussed by Armenian and Ukrainian Prime Ministers in Yalta. He also stressed the importance of more effective use of Russian capital, noting that only 10% of over 1000 joint Armenian-Russian companies are operating at present.
