Turkey may frustrate reconciliation process
If Turkey protracts ratification of protocols on normalization of relations with Armenia, it will jeopardize the entire reconciliation process, according to professor Ruben Safrastyan, director of the RA NAS Institute of Oriental Studies.

"The Kurdish initiative is dominating Turkey's agenda. Turkish leadership will address relations with Armenia only after progress is registered in the Kurdish issue," he told a news conference on Wednesday.

He also voiced an opinion that Turkish parliamentary commission will hardly promulgate its decision of Armenia-Turkey protocols before December 7.

"If Turkey drags out the ratification process, Yerevan can quit negotiations," prof. Safrastyan said.
