During a meeting with Turkey's Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, U.S. President Barack Obama called for soonest ratification of Armenia-Turkey protocols by the Turkish parliament.

Obama warned that it would be difficult to prevent passage of the Armenian Genocide resolution in the U.S. Congress if the protocols are not ratified, Hurriyet reported.
