Forty-five percent of Turkey's population support the country's EU process
The survey conducted by Eurobarometer (under the European Commission in EU) showed that Turkish people's support for EU process has dropped from 48 to 45 percent over the past 6 months.
Fifty percent of respondents said Turkey would benefit from joining the European family. Six months ago, the figure was 57%.
Trust in the European Parliament and European Commission dropped from 27% to 19% and 20% to 18% respectively.
