Aram Harutyunyan pleased with Lake Sevan protection works
The Armenian Ministry of Nature Protection summed up the results of 2009.
793 violations of the law on nature protection including illegal fishing and hunting were registered in 2009. A large number of poacher were fined.
According to the annual report issued by the Ministry, the level of Lake Sevan raised by 40 cm. 147 thousand of gegharkunik and 140 trout fries were let out to the lake.
