Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan conveyed condolences over the death of prominent jazzman Georgy Garanyan.

"It was with a great sense of loss when we heard of Georgy Garanyan's death. He was an outstanding composer, saxophonist and conductor... Maestro Garanyan will always remain within our hearts," the President said in his letter of sympathy.
