The first round of Armenian Women's Chess Championship was held Friday in Tigran Petrosyan Chess House. The competitions brought together 10 female chess players from Vanadzorm Gyumri, Abovyan, Sisian and Yerevan.

Siranush Andreasyan (2224) had the highest rating. Lusine Karapetyan, with 1903 took the 10th place.
