There are special units in the armed forces of Armenia and the NKR Defense Army, which now face the task of expanding, Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan told students and teaching staff of Yerevan State University.

According to Ohanyan, the RA army in the future should be become a compound, i.e, there should be conscripts, contract soldiers and special units.

The Defense Minister of Armenia stated that in a very short time the army achieved tangible results in improving social and living conditions for servicemen and effective organization of educational process. According to him, the same cannot be stated about the armies of most of post-soviet states.
