In 2007, Alexis Ohanian founded a social enterprise Breadpig for sale of amusing things. All proceeds from the sales he directed to construction of schools. Breadpig sold 25 000 copies of its last product Book xkcd. Over the last 2 years the company has provided to charity about $ 100 000.
The meeting was organized by "Professionals for Civil Society" NGO, the successor of the USAID program "Development of NGO sector in Armenia".
