Gross international reserves of Armenia reduced by 7.7%

Armenia’s gross international reserves decreased by $154.8mln or 7.7% during the first two months of 2010, totalling $1.85 billion. Meanwhile, Armenia’s international reserves reduced by 4.6% in February, as compared with January 2010, the Armenian Central Bank said in its monthly bulletin.

Besides, the special drawing rights (SDR) in the International Monetary Fund decreased by 3.6% in January-February 2010, amounting to $120.2mln.

Armenia’s foreign currency assets reduced by 8% during the period under review, totaling $1.73 billion.
