WBO middleweight champion Robert Stieglitz comments on Abraham vs. Dirrell fight

I am eager to strike swords with Arthur, WBO middleweight champion Robert Stieglitz said.

"And, of course, out of all of the possible contenders at the moment, Abraham is the most coveted. And as far as which of us is stronger, it will be determined with a fight and not from all of the "analysis" from the journalists who consider themselves great experts."

Stieglitz gave his thoughts on Abraham's last fight with Andre Dirrell. King Arthur was disqualified in the eleventh round when he struck Dirrell while he was down from a slip.

"I carefully looked at that fight. At the time of disqualification, Abraham was losing on points. In the midst of fight, Dirrell slipped and almost fell, and Arthur leaned over and struck him, while Dirrell was on a knee. As a boxer, I understand the mind state of Abraham. During an attack, it's not always possible to immediately stop yourself when an official gives you the signal to do so. In any event the end result was the correct one," boxingscene.com cited Stieglitz as saying.
