GERMANY MAY BECOME MINSK GROUP CO-CHAIR
Germany, which has its representation in OSCE, may become Minsk Group Co-Chair on the Karabakh conflict settlement, Chief of an office of the Azerbaijani President's executive machinery Novruz Mamedov stated in an interview to "Echo" Baku newspaper. He also added, the topicality of the question may increase in the future. In Mamedov's words, the co-chairmanship institution is being formed on the basis of consensus, and agreement of both parties to conflict is needed for including any other country. The attempt to involve Germany in the Minsk Group leadership was made earlier, but Armenia did not agree to it, Mamedov noted.
