OSCE PA CHAIRMAN BELIEVES NKR PEOPLE CAN BUILD FREE AND DEMOCRATIC SOCIETY
Resumption of hostilities will delay the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict resolution for tens of years. Members of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Security Council and leaders of permanent commissions and deputy groups of NKR Parliament expressed such an opinion in the course of meetings with OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Chairman Adrian Severin, who had arrived in Stepanakert. In the course of the meetings representatives of NKR leadership stated they came out for peaceful settlement of the Karabakh problem. Adrian Severin expressed hope that his visit to the region could contribute to political resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. "No one knows what the final result will be like, but if the people of Nagorno-Karabakh succeeds in building modern free and democratic society and thus wins the sympathy of the international community, NKR will be able to find its place in the world that it deserves," - head of OSCE Parliamentary Assembly said, adding he was sure Nagorno-Karabakh was able to build such a society. Let us remind Adrian Severin arrived in Stepanakert after visiting Baku and Yerevan.
