Yesterday Armenia transferred to winter time. At 5.00 October 28, 2001 the hands of clocks on the entire territory of the country were moved an hour backwards. Thus, Armenia returned to the winter time zone. The regime of transition to summer and winter time, which is economically efficient due to the opportunity to save electric power, is applied in 110 countries.
