2.75mln liters of brandy were produced in Armenia from January-March 2010 which is 17.5% higher as compared with the same period of last year. 1.34mln liters of vodka were produced during the first quarter of 2010 that is 49.4% lower as compared with the same period of last year, the National Statistical Service reported.

Besides, 973.9 thous. liters of wine were produced from January-March 2010 against 803.1thous. liters during the same period of 2009 (21.3% growth).

From January-March 2010, 1.85mln liters of beer were produced in Armenia that is 58.9% higher as compared with the same period of 2009.Productionof sparkling winesincreased by 29.4%, making 54.1 thous.liters.

Production of soft drinks reduced by 11.7% during the first quarter of 2010, reaching 6.6mln liters.
