Armenian real estate market tends to revive

Armenian real estate market tends to revive, according to Arman Petrosyan, a representative of the State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre.

“The market price for 1 square meter in apartment buildings increased by 2.6% in Yerevan and by 1.5% in other cities of the republic. Prices for real estate will hardly go down in the near future,” Petrosyan told reporters on May 5.

He also informed that 36 499 transactions were conducted in the first quarter of 2010, exceeding the last year’s index by 24.3%.
