Armenian grandmaster Vladimir Akopian was defeated by Ukraine’s Pavel Elyanov in the second round of Men’s Grand Prix in Astrakhan, Russia.

Akopian is currently the 10th with 0.5 point. In the third round, he will rival Russia’s Peter Svidler.
