Democratic elections to help international recognition of Artsakh

Michael Kovaka, Senior Counsel and Senior Legal Editor at the Public International Law & Policy Group (PILPG) said that the delegation led by him attended polling stations in 7 constituencies to meet with voters, observers and journalists.

“We also met with officials and representatives of non-governmental organizations,” he said. “There were no violations or complaints registered. Our mission asserts that the elections were held freely and transparently. The Nagorno Karabakh Republic is moving towards healthy and lasting democracy.”

As a PanARMENIAN.Net correspondent reported from Stepanakert, Mr. Kovaka also said that democratic elections will help international recognition of Artsakh.
