On May 22, the passage through Upper Lars checkpoint was resumed for all types of transport, as a result of discussions with Georgia, the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Transport and Communication reported.

Earlier, it was reported that only passenger cars, trucks with carrying capacity of 10t are allowed to drive through the checkpoint due to bad weather conditions.

From March 1 to November 1, the checkpoint will be working from 6:00am to 10:00pm.
