WASHINGTON DECLARES RESUMPTION OF HOSTILITIES IN NAGORNO-KARABAKH WILL NOT DO ANY GOOD TO AZERBAIJAN
Official Washington considers beginning "antiterrorist operation" in Nagorno-Karabakh by Azerbaijan will not do any good to Baku. As reported by "Arminfo" agency, US Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Baku Ross Wilson stated this in an interview to ANS Azerbaijani television channel. In his words, commencement of hostilities may destabilize the situation in the Southern Caucasus region. The Ambassador's statement was made a few days after the statements of the Ministers of Defense and National Security of Azerbaijan concerning possible commencement of hostilities against Nagorno-Karabakh and Armenia.
