Bread production amounted to 99.4thous tons in Armenia in January-April 2010, remaining unchanged as compared with the same period of 2009.

Flour production increased by 14.4% during the reported period, amounting to 45.24thous tons. Meanwhile, confectionery production grew by 7.8% in January-April 2010 as compared with the same period of 2009, totaling 3.18thous tons, the Armenian National Statistical Service reported.

Production of macaroni products decreased by 10.5% in January-April 2010, totaling 782.4 tons against 873.9 tons during the same period of 2009. Meanwhile, cereal production grew by 6.5%, amounting to 78.1 tons.
