EU’s Eastern Partnership initiative is a practically ineffective program, member of European Parliament Pavel Koval stated.
As he told a news conference in Warsaw, Poland uses the initiative to influence EU policy towards 6 post-Soviet states. “Competitiveness of the initiative against Moscow-advanced initiatives is yet to be assessed.”
“Still, Brussels envisaging Belarus and Ukraine with the same package with South Caucasus states rather than, for instance, Morocco would be a correct solution,” EP member noted.
