Freedom House released the findings (political rights and civil liberties scores) for Freedom in the World 2010. Freedom House annual report lists Armenia and NKR among partially free states; Azerbaijan was given Not Free status. Georgia and Turkey were named partially free, however, Turkey received a downward trend arrow due to the Constitutional Court’s decision to ban the pro-Kurdish Democratic Society Party.
17 countries, including Belarus, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan as well as China, Cuba, South Korea, Burma, Sudan, Syria, Somali were announced Not Free and given negative assessment.
