Russia, U.S. stand for non-use of force in Transcaucasia

Russia’s State Secretary, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Grigory Karasin met with U.S. Assistant Secretary for Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs Philip Gordon in Geneva on June 7. The two men exchanged views on the conflicts in Nagorno Karabakh and Transnistria, the situation in Central Asia and Afghanistan.

At that, Mr. Karasin stressed the necessity of adoption of a resolution on non-use of force in the Transcaucasia, RF MFA press office reported.
