Tehran labels UN Security Council resolution ‘wrong’

Iran rejected as a "wrong" measure a UN sanctions resolution imposed on Wednesday to pressure it to suspend its nuclear activities, a senior Iranian official said.

"The resolution was a wrong move ... it was not a constructive step ... to resolve the nuclear issue. It will make the situation more complicated," Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said after the UN Security Council passed a forth round of sanctions resolution against Iran, Reuters reported.
