Aliyev urges OSCE MG to make Armenia admit revised Madrid Principles

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said his country expects the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs to influence Armenia and make it admit the revised Madrid Principles, which are on the table.

“If the situation persists, the issue will remain open, what is unacceptable for Baku. I have always said that Azerbaijan will not be engaged in an imitation of talks. So, either the things will get moving or the issue will be settled in other way, which is a military solution,” Aliyev said.

“No variant can be excluded and we should be ready for all. We are hopeful that the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries will use their power to compel Armenia to admit the revised Madrid Document for further elaboration of a peace agreement,” AzerTag quoted him as saying.
