Arsen Martirosyan to fight for WBC title

WBC International, WBA and IBF International super bantamweight champion Arsen Martirosyan arrived in Armenia after his May 21 bout where he beat France’s Jeremy Parodi.

Martirosyan said that his bout vs. Parodi was important for him, as he was fighting for a new title. “Jeremy is a young talented boxer. He was undefeated before that fight. But I managed to beat him and gain WBC International title,” Martirosyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

He added that he will fight for WBC title in Japan in December 2010. “I will start my trainings in Tsaghkadzor and will continue in England and Germany,” the boxer said.
