Presentation of ArmenTel’s safe.beeline.am new web resource on struggle against mobile fraud was held in Yerevan on June 10. The resource contains information on most popular fraud patterns, as well as recommendations on measures to be undertaken in case of mobile cheating. As the head of ArmenTel customer service department Burastan Movsesyan told a news conference in Yerevan, several thousand complaints of mobile fraud are annually filed by Beeline Armenian subscribers.

ArmenTel representative advised Dial-up connection subscribers to encode the telephone against international calls, turn off the modem after using the internet and update anti-virus software as a safety measure.

In conclusion, Burastan Movsesyan characterized ADSL connection as a safer way for internet users to avoid fraud.
