Eduard Abrahamyan: Armen Ashotyan’s educational policy incomprehensible to society

RA Education Minister Armen Ashotyan’s educational policy is incomprehensible to society, according to National Neoconservative Movement leader Eduard Abrahamyan .

Commenting on introduction of a bill on opening foreign-language schools in Armenia, Eduard Abrahamyan stressed the importance of improving education quality in Armenian schools.

“Armenian schools are the only hope and stronghold of powerful Armenian statehood of future. Instead of bringing Armenian-language education up to international standards, a number of Armenian officials are doing their best to cut off current generation from their roots.”

“I am opposed to opening foreign-language schools in Armenia. Growing generation is what determines the future of the country. Our education should become a reflection of Armenian world view and mentality, rather than a result of foreign cultural expansion,” National Neoconservative Movement leader emphasized.
