Until recently, Erdogan seemed to gain additional dividends before the oncoming elections, so there was nothing to worry about, according to Alexander Goldenshtein, assistant to editor-in-chief of IzRus portal.

“Now, it’s hard to foretell how this will end,” he told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter when commenting on Turkish government’s anti-Israeli package.

As Mr. Goldenshtein noted, the escalation would not cease, with rumors afloat on diplomatic status demotion, ban on the entrance of Israeli vessels to Turkish ports, refusal to provide tourist visas, etc.

“At this rate, the rupture is inevitable, given anti-Turkish moods brewing in Israel,” he said.

“The army was Israel’s main ally in Turkey, this being the reason for Erdogan’s continuous attempts to destroy its brain center. “To save Israel-Turkey strategic union, we have to set our hopes on Turkish opposition, Defense Minister and forces rejecting new Iran instead of Turkey,” he emphasized.
