Iran is an important factor for Armenia’s strategic security, director of the Armenian Center for National and International Studies (ACNIS) said.

“Appliance of sanctions or war will affect Armenia,” Richard Giragosian said. “Our government’s reaction to approval of the new round of sanctions against Iran was extremely ineffective.”

“Yerevan pursues ostrich policy on Iran’s nuclear problem, hoping that it will be resolved by itself,” he said.
