Alexan Harutyunyan forecasts reduction in Armenian channels’ number followed by drastic upsurge

Reduction in the number of Armenian TV channels upon transfer to digital television is a natural process to last till 2015. As he said at June 19 news conference, international experience was considered while adopting the relevant law.

Commenting on the quality of programs on Armenian TV, Harutyunyan approved the ongoing reduction in the number of low-quality programs.
