ArmenTel offers to develop Armenian content in Internet on advantageous conditions

ArmenTel CJSC offers to develop the Armenian content in Internet on advantageous conditions. "We are rather interested in presence of Armenian culture and education oriented websites in Internet," CEO of the company Igor Klimko told journalists.

"To this end, we have provided our content-providers with the possibility to place their websites in Internet," he said.

On June 18, the company offered its content-providers to use the expanded ADSL uplink channel at a speed of 256 kilobytes/s, as well as announce their sites in Internet.

According to spokesperson for ArmenTel Anush Begloyan, individual approach will be displayed towards providers, thus, the company has decided not to publish the project terms entirely.

The project is aimed at stimulating the development of ethnic content in Armenia. Resource owners should maintain twenty-four-hour availability of information in Internet and ensure compliance of the resource's content with the RA legislation. The project's details will be provided to interested individuals and legal entities upon request.
