Vardan Bostanjyan: Armenian economy to revive in 2010

Armenia is just trying to convince itself of some positive economic tendencies, according to expert Vahagn Ghazaryan.

“The GDP grows with inflation reaching 7-8% and basket of goods getting more expensive,” he told a news conference on June 30.

“With dram devaluation the prices for food have raised, although globally these tend to go down,” Ghazaryan said.

Meanwhile, Prosperous Armenia party representative, member of parliamentary committee on economic issues Vardan Bostanjyan voiced an opinion that Armenian economy will revive in 2010. “With the achievement registered, the economy will stabilize,” he said.
