International community doesn’t have mechanisms to stop hostilities, Armenian MP says

Although speaking about inadmissibility of use of force for resolution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict, the international community doesn’t have mechanisms to stop hostilities, head of ARF Dashnaktsutyun parliamentary group said.

“We could witness the CSTO’s ‘efficiency’ during the disorders in Kyrgyzstan. Interference of Turkey, the only NATO representative in the region, is unacceptable for us. Russia, as a rule, is always several days late in such cases,” Vahan Hovhannisyan told journalists in Yerevan on June 30.

“I suppose that we must demonstrate our power in case of a new war to make the above mentioned organizations and countries rush to save Azerbaijani oil deposits and prevent further escalation,” he said.
