Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received Deputy Director of the UNDP Regional Bureau for Europe and the CIS, Director of Bratislawa Regional Center Jens Wandel.

Mr. Sargsyan hailed the UN's activity in Armenia.

For his part, the UN representative stressed that 2010-2015 Country Program Action Plan signed between Armenia and UNDP is the best in the region from the point of view of raising the efficiency of state administration's system. The process and outlooks of macroeconomic developments in the country, cooperation with the European Union, struggle against corruption and shadow economy were in the focus of the meeting, the RA government's press service reported. Besides, the two men discussed opportunities for strengthening of bilateral cooperation, specifically, application of UN experts' experience and methodology in joint programs with the UNDP.
