On July 8, FC Banants (Armenia) lost the return match against FC Anorthosis (Cyprus), 0:1, in the first qualifying round of 2010-2011 Europa League, dropping out of the competition with the aggregate result of two matches being 0:4.

The same day, FC Ulysses (Armenia) dropped as well, losing its return match against FC Bney-Yehuda (Israel), 0:1, after tying the first match in Yerevan.
