On July 9, Armenian Deputy Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs Arsen Karamyan said that the program on provision of apartments below market prices to young scientists of Yerevan State University will be completed in November 2010.

"AMD 6.4bln was spent to implement the program. It envisages construction of 315 apartments, the cost of which is twice lower than market prices. Beneficiaries make payments for the apartments within two years, while they are constructed," Karamyan told a press conference.

According to him, similar programs may be implemented also in Kapan and Yerevan’s Zeytun district.

"The program is envisaged for 2.5 years, during which the circulation in economy will total AMD 17-18bln. Besides, 2,200 job opportunities will be created during it," Karamyan said.
