2009 champions of Armenia – FC Pyunik – are getting prepared for the second qualification round of the UEFA Champions League.

The first match vs. Serbia's Partizan is due July 14. The return match will be played on July 21 in Yerevan.

Recently, FC Pyunik has obtained three new footballers. Besides, Edgar Manucharyan will join the FC for the return match of the Champions League, FC President Karen Harutyunyan said.

Meanwhile, Chief Coach of Pyunik Vardan Minasyan said that Manucharyan is not in the best shape now.

The Coach added the it would be much more preferable to win several rounds in the Champions League rather than to become the country's champions.
