RA National Assembly speaker Hovik Abrahamyan met with his Iranian counterpart Ali Larijani within the framework of the 3rd World Conference of Speakers of Parliament.

At the meeting, Hovik Abrahamyan gave high assessment to Armenia-Iran relations, emphasizing their serious economic potential. To promote interparliamentary ties, RA NA speaker invited his Iranian counterpart to Armenia.

The parties discussed bilateral relations and regional issues, stressing the importance of peaceful settlement of conflicts in the establishment of regional stability.

Within conference frameworks, Hovik Abrahamyan met with UAE Federal National Council speaker Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair and president of the National Council of Monaco Jean-François Robillon.
