Levon Igityan: Armenian ethnic group not as fragile as it might seem

Opening of a few foreign-language schools is incapable of jeopardizing Armenian ethnic group, which is not as fragile as it might seem, architect Levon Igityan believes.

As he stated at July 20 TV spacebridge on the Future of the Russian Language in Armenia, competitiveness of education system in Armenia should be increased before opening of foreign language schools is planned.

Still, he noted, “Through opening foreign-language schools Armenia will open its doors to the world.”

In conclusion, the architect urged for reestablishment of long-lost educational traditions.
