Armenia’s GMs Robert Hovhannisyan, Samvel Ter-Sahakyan and Hrair Simonyan, as well as Ani Khanamiryan will participate in World Juniors and Girls U20 Chess Championships due August 3-16 in Chotowa, Poland.

GM Hrant Melkumyan scored 3 points out of 3 possible in an international chess tournament in Balager, Spain. He is sharing the 1st-3rd places with two grandmasters. Zaven Andriasyan scored 2 points.

Meanwhile, GM Hrair Simonian scored 3.5 points in Miguel Najdorf Memorial in Warsaw, Poland. Simonyan is one point behind the leader, armchess.am reported.
