Monument to former chief architect Gurgen Najaryan to be set in Novorossiysk in 2010

Mayor of Novorossiysk Vladimir Sinyagovsky made a decision to set a monument to former chief architect of the city Gurgen Najaryan, who established the city’s quay, making it Novorossiysk’s visiting card.

The memorial will be set in 2010.

The press service of the city's administration reported that Gurgen Najaryan attached great importance to “land architecture.” Novorossiysk owes its park artery to Najaryan, as it was established in 1946, but started developing only during Najaryan’s tenure, the information center of Yerkramas paper of Armenians of Russia reported.
