Body of Armenian woman found in Turkey

It will be possible to transport to Armenia the body of 29-year-old Armenian woman Anna Davtyan, who disappeared in Turkey in mid-July, only upon final completion of the identification procedure.

Only after the identification, the RA Foreign Ministry will take steps to take the Armenian woman’s body to the homeland, Spokesman of the RA Foreign Ministry Tigran Balayan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

Anna Davtyan went to Turkey to take a rest in mid-July. Two days prior to her return to Armenia, she informed her parents about the soonest arrival. After it, the family had no news of her. Anna’s mother went to Turkey to find her daughter. Later, the Turkish police found Anna’s body, which was in such condition that her mother has recognized it with difficulty. Currently, Anna Davtyan’s parents are waiting for the results of DNA analysis.
