The Armenian Foreign Ministry did not receive any official invitation for the liturgy in Surb Khach Church in Akhtamar island due on September 19, RA MFA spokesman Tigran Balayan told PanARMENIAN.Net.

The liturgy was primarily set for September 12, on the Holy Cross day, but was postponed to 19 due to the constitutional referendum in Turkey.

The last time the service in the Church was offered in 1915.
