The Singapore Youth Olympic Games due August 14 will host 3500 sportsmen from 205 states worldwide.

At the Olympics, Armenia will be represented by 14 sportsmen competing in 12 disciplines.

Armenian sportsmen to perform at Youth Olympics are: Smbat Margaryan, Gor Markaryan (weightlifting); Anahit Barseghyan and Sergey Pevnev (swimming); Varos Petrosyan (Greco-Roman wrestling); Vahan Vardanyan (gymnastics); Artak Hovhannesyan (freestyle wrestling); Diana Khubeseryan (athletics); Vasil Shahnazaryan, Romik Vardumyan (archery); David Ghazaryan (Judo); Hrant Matevosyan (boxing); Edgar Babayan (rowing); Gevorg Papoyan (aquatics).

Armenian delegation to Singapore is headed by ANOC Vice President Derenik Gabriyelyan.
