President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan visited the village of Zardashen in the Martuni region Friday to meet representatives of the community and discuss rural development, specifically employment problems, expansion of irrigation network and improvement of the roads.

“Development of rural areas is an issue of strategic importance, which implies sustainable socio-economic development of the republic,” he said, reported Central Information Department of the Office of the Artsakh Republic President.
